The Team of the Week is D3baseball.com's weekly honor roll, in its second season of recognizing the top performers at each of nine positions from the previous week. Players are selected from nominations from their school's sports information directors. This is the eighth Team of the Week of the 2013 season.

C  John Sullivan, Jr., Anna Maria

Sullivan had a monster week for the AMCATS. He batted .600 (12-for-20) with six doubles, two triples, five runs scored and 10 RBI. He had five multi-hit games, a slugging percentage of 1.100 and a .600 on base percentage. He helped backbone a starting rotation that produce a 3.19 ERA over seven games and led the AMCATS to a 5-1 GNAC record.

1B  Dante Cassano, Jr., Gwynedd-Mercy

Cassano, the CSAC Baseball Player of the Week, helped lead the Griffins to a 5-2, 4-0 CSAC Week. Cassao batted .500 (10-for-20) with seven runs scored and nine RBI. He tied a Gwynedd-Mercy single-game record with three doubles in an 8-6 win over Misericordia on Tuesday, going 3-for-5 with two RBIs.

2B  Jose Pena, Jr., Mass.-Boston

Pena had a career week as UMass-Boston swept conference opponent Rhode Island College and upset nationally ranked St. Joseph's (ME). At the dish Pena hit a team-leading .533 average (8-for-15) and .933 slugging percentage. In his five at-bats against St. Joesph's (Maine), he recorded one single, two doubles, and a three-run homer, his first of the year.

SS  Jared Kahn, Jr., Emory

Kahn, the Eagles leadoff hitter, had a team-best .556 batting average (5-for-9) during four games last week. Kahn had a double and two triples for a 1.111 slugging percentage. Kahn also swiped five bases in five attempts. Kahn scored in all four games, finishing with seven on the week. Kahn also converted 17 of 18 chances at shortstop during the week, good for a .944 fielding percentage.

3B  Nicho Dellavalle, Jr., Cal Lutheran

In a three-game sweep of Claremont-Mudd-Scripps, DellaValle went 9-for-13 (.692) with six RBIs and five runs scored for the Kingsmen. Of the nine hits, three were for extra bases (a pair of triples and a double). DellaValle notch his fifth and sixth three-hit games of the season. Defensively he was perfect at the hot corner with four assists.

OF  Nick Annunziata , Fr., RPI

Annunziata led the Engineers to a four-game series victory over Vassar last week, batting .571 (8-for-14), with two doubles, his first collegiate home run, seven runs scored and seven runs batted in. Compiling a .929 slugging percentage and a .600 on-base percentage, his week was highlighted by notching a career-high four hits, including a home run, three runs and three RBI in Rensselaer's come-from-behind 11-10 victory over the Brewers on Sunday.

OF Tom Natoli, Sr., Becker

Nataoli was named the NECC Player of the Week after batting .600 (9-for-15) with five base-on-balls. Natoli scored six times and drove in four. Out of Natoli's nine hits, five of them were for extra bases leading to a slugging percentage of 1.067.

OF Tucker White, Sr., Southern Maine

White hit .524 (11-for-21) from the plate with six extra base hits (two doubles, a triple, and three home runs). His nine runs batted in powered Southern Maine to a 5-0 week, including a Little East sweep at Eastern Connecticut. White registered multiple hits in four of his five starts.

DH  Daniel Paccione, Jr., Farmingdale State

Paccione was named the Skyline Conference Player of the Week after collecting seven hits in nine at-bats (.778) with seven runs scored and seven RBI in a 4-0 week for the Rams. He slugged two home runs, two triples and a double, had three multi-hit games.

SP  Tommy Bergjans, So., Haverford

Bergjans was masterful in the Fords' 5-0 win against Swarthmore, handing the Garnet its first Centennial loss. He threw eight scoreless innings, allowing only a single and no free passes, while striking out 12.

SP  Conner Johnson, Fr., Castleton

The reigning NAC Pitcher of the Week, Johnson had two fantastic outings as part of Castleton's 6-1 week. The freshman made a relief appearance against Norwich, striking out eight batters and allowing a single hit in 3.0 innings. Johnson followed this up with the fifth no-hitter in program history as the Spartans earned a 5-1 victory in Saturday's opening game against Maine-Farmington. In his first career start, Johnson faced just two batters over the minimum while walking a single batter and striking out two.

SP  Alec Palioca, Jr., Wheaton (Mass.)

Palioca, the NEWMAC Pitcher of the Week, no-hit Coast Guard over seven innings pitched in his only start on the week for Wheaton. Palioca, who was pulled with his no-hitter still intact, walked two batters and struck out a season-high nine hitters in the Lyons 4-0 win.

RP  Rew Wilson, Sr., Plymouth St.

In two Little East appearances this past week, Wilson pitched a combined eight scoreless innings to post a 1-0 record with a save as Plymouth State swept Western Connecticut. Wilson limited the Colonials to just two base runners, on a walk and a single, while striking out 11.  Wilson worked the final two and a third innings in game one to record his first save of the season. In the nightcap, he allowed just a ninth inning single, while fanning nine to collect the win.
