On Saturday Brockport defeated the Hawks in game 1 of the doubleheader 14-4 followed by a 5-0 shutout in game 2.
BROCKPORT, NY – The SUNY Brockport baseball team hosted its annual Hometown Heroes game on Friday, April 29th to all first responders and those who have served in our nation's military. The team defeated the New Paltz Hawks in the game by a score of 7-3.
It was a long delayed home opening but Minn-Morris earned a key UMAC victory over Crown to even their season record. Brockport added another win against a regionally ranked opponent to add to their baseball resume.
Following a sweep of conference mate Yeshiva, Maritime is off to their best start in program history with 15 wins in their first 21 games. Cortland stopped Brockport's 16 game win streak in the opener of a SUNYAC DH but they started a new one with a win in the nightcap.
BROCKPORT, NY – The SUNY Brockport baseball team is off to its best start in program history with an 18-2 start and currently a 16 game winning streak, the second-longest active winning streak in all of college baseball behind Division 1 Tennessee (20), as they head into a weekend series at SUNY Cortland (19-6).
St. John Fisher broke an 8-8 tie with Oswego State to had the lakers their second straight loss. Elsewhere in New York, Brockport extended the longest active win streak in D-III baseball to 16 games.
The SUNY Brockport baseball team extended it's NCAA Division III leading win streak to 16 games on Wednesday night as the Golden Eagles topped host RIT 12-5 in non-conference action on the road. The Golden Eagles hold the second longest win streak at any level of NCAA baseball, trailing just DI Tennessee (20 straight wins).

Green was a lucky color this Thursday as Babson scored a win over a Top 25 program. Brockport, Franciscan, McDaniel, Oswego State Skidmore, and Wisconsin-Lutheran, also earned wins on St. Patrick's Day.
Oswego State score 35 runs as the Lakers swept a SUNYAC doubleheader to tie Brockport for the SUNYAC-West lead. Oneonta also grabbed the SUNYAC-East lead with two wins over Plattsburg State.
Russell Sage officials announced the selection of Nick Pontari as the first head coach for the newly added program. Pontari, a 2016 graduate of Brockport State, joins the Gator staff after serving as an assistant coach at Cornell.
Cortland remained perfect in the SUNYAC with a sweep of Brockport. The Red Dragons are the only team to win every conference game as of Saturday. St. Scholastica has yet to lose but has one UMAC tie.
Brockport traveled to Baldwin Wallace and walked away with two wins on Saturday, winning the opener in extras and the second in regulation, No. 20 Chapman, Bethany, and Occidental also brought brooms in their doubleheaders on Saturday.
