February 17, 2024 Mitchell opens with sweep, Buena Vista opener a hit Mitchell made the best of a trip south to grab two wins on their opening day over William Peace. Further south La Grange took two of their own as Joe Ruth inched closer to the D3 hits record. Buena Vista only got one win on Saturday but scored enough runs to win multiple times with an 18-run seventh inning.
April 25, 2023 Tufts doubles up Eastern Nazarene on Tuesday Tufts doubled up Eastern Nazarene, 6-3 on Tuesday in a key regional contest. In Atlanta, Emory slugged their way to a big win over LaGrange as they pad their resume for a possible at-large bid to the NCAA Playoffs.
April 15, 2023 Piedmont sweeps La Grange Piedmont upset No. 9 LaGrange, giving the Panthers, their first losses in the CCS. Elsewhere in the top 25 it was No. 10 Randolph-Macon falling to No. 3 Shenandoah and No. 24 Southwestern defeating No. 23 Trinity (Texas).
March 6, 2023 Wittenberg surprises LaGrange Witternberg defeated No 4. LaGrange in a Top 5 upset on Monday. UW-Oshkosh continued their hot start to the season with their second win over No. 17 Webster.
January 30, 2023 Region 6 Preview: South Last year the South had three teams in the top 10 spots in the final Top 25 of the year and all three teams are poised to repeat this feat. Salisbury will be moving out of the region but there are plenty of teams that are eying a spot in the final Series in Cedar Rapids.
