March 12, 2024 Bethel gets back in the win column The beginning of the week was so yesterday. Bethel got a loss on Monday but bounced back on Tuesday to get back in the win column with a 4-2 win over Loras. Birmingham-Southern also found the winning touch after losing a weekend series to Oglethorpe.
February 15, 2024 Opening wins highlight mid-week action Dubuque, Fontbonne, Huntingdon, Moravian and Oglethorpe opened their seasons with a wins in mid-week action. Rhodes and Centenary met for the first time, splitting a two game set that saw Gents head coach earn win #300.
April 28, 2023 Millsaps, Sewanee open SAA tournament with upset wins As Birmingham Southern cruised to an opening home win over Oglethorpe, Millsaps and Sewanee opened with wins on their opponent's home field in the opening of the SAA tournament on Friday.
March 4, 2023 Turner, James, Marconi twirl no-hitter Zach Turner, Colby James and Will Marconi combined for a no-hit shutout to help Oglethorpe split a doubleheader with Hendrix Saturday afternoon in the SAA opener for both. Hendrix won game one 13-4 before Oglethorpe bounced back with a 7-0 win in game two.
February 14, 2023 Methodist and CNU cruises to opening week wins Methodist defeated Alma in their season opening doubleheader with double digit runs in each end. CNU also won twice this week but featured pitching and timely hitting for their wins.
